I’d be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in general building trades, whether you’ve previously worked as a Groundworks Operative, Groundworks Engineer or External Works Operative.

As the Groundworker, you will be responsible for duties such as:

All aspects of external ground works
Excavate foundations, footings, and service trenches to required depths and dimensions
Install drainage systems, manholes, gullies, and inspection chambers
Lay and compact sub-base materials; pour and finish concrete for slabs, bases and Kerbs
Carry out hard landscaping, including kerb laying, block paving, and footpath/road construction
I'd love to speak to Groundworker who has:

Previous experience as ground worker in construction
Competence with hand tools, power tools, and small plant
Ability to read site drawings and set out levels
Knowledge of drainage, foundations, fencing, and hard landscaping work
