SALARY: £42,757 basic + £2,543 on‑call allowance

We're looking for a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join Forest, a part of Mitie, supporting a range of food service, hospitality, and food & drinks retail clients across the South Midlands region.

Forest is a market‑leading and national award‑winning refrigeration contractor in the Food service and Food/Drink retail sector, offering excellent job stability through long‑term, blue‑chip contracts. • Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
• Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in an on‑call rota as required

• Candidates must hold a current, valid F‑Gas Certificate (Applicants without this will not be considered).
• The ideal applicant will possess 10+ years working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments.
• Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the food service/retail sector.
• Professional, reliable, and capable of high performance, even during peak summer periods.
• Full UK driving licence
• Qualified to work on chilled and frozen commercial equipment
• Must live in a postcode beginning with MK, OX, LU, HP or NN
