HGV Technician

Our client, a reputable commercial dealership based in Bedford, is seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their state‑of‑the‑art workshop team. • Competitive hourly rate of up to £23, dependent on experience and qualifications

• Conduct scheduled servicing, routine maintenance, and repairs on HGVs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment and techniques
• Perform safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Support team members to optimise workshop operations
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all work carried out

• Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive, team‑oriented attitude
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
• Commitment to high standards of quality and safety compliance
