Technician Vacancy - Bedford

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to work within their busy main dealership.

You must hold a level 3 qualification. Applicants from both Main Dealer and Independent Workshops are welcomed. An MOT license is preferred but not essential for this position.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience but expect circa £48,000 OTE, plus additional incentives.

Manufacturer backed ongoing training through to Master Technician and development is offered, particularly on hybrid technology. This role offers progression within the business.

• Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Refer to schematics when necessary to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle components.
• Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.
