Water Recycling Process Operator (Works Technician Process Controller)
Salary & Benefits: Starting salary £31,756 per annum, with potential increases up to £42,873 based on skills and progression. Includes standby allowance, overtime rates for Saturday and Sunday, company van for business use, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Bedford. Full‑time, permanent. Typical days:
Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:00, with flexibility to adjust start and finish times. Standby and occasional weekend duties are required and paid accordingly.
Water Recycling is central to our operations. As a Process Operator you will maintain and service our water recycling plants, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain assets including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, flow meters, compressors, and more
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance, such as lubrication of equipment
- Carry out process sampling, monitor performance, and report any issues
- Adhere to company safety policies and maintain good housekeeping standards
- Explore ways to reduce energy consumption while maintaining compliance
- Work within confined spaces and at heights, complying with harness weight limits (≤113kg) and occupational health checks
- Background in a process environment (advantage but not essential)
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Competence with IT systems
- Strong problem‑solving skills, quick learning, and initiative
- Excellent team player, proactive, with interpersonal and organisational skills
- Good communication, flexibility, and reliability
