HGV Trailer Technician – Bedford

Our client is a Trailer Fleet Company that provides transportation and logistic solutions across Europe. They are currently looking for an experienced HGV Trailer Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. They are well respected with sites across the UK and rest of Europe. • Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
• Diagnose and repair EBS system faults.
• Complete all compliance documentation accurately.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Attend industry training courses to enhance technical skills.

• Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
• Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• IRTEC accreditation (desirable).
• EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO).
• Welding certification (desirable).
• Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
• Tail lift and double-deck maintenance experience.
