Field Service Engineer; Pumps

Field Service Engineer (Pumps) – £45,000 up to £50,000 depending on experience, full‑time permanent, Monday to Friday, 40‑hour contract plus up to double time overtime.
Location: Kempston, Bedford.

Benefits: Company van, fuel card, and up to double time overtime.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Perform equipment installations, upgrades and fault finding/diagnosing equipment problems, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Participate in the emergency call‑out rota.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment.
• Document activities, including service reports, repair logs and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.

• Previous experience as a Pump Engineer or experience working with pumps within plant rooms and associated BMS systems.
• Full driving licence.
• Own standard tools (specialist equipment is supplied).
• Excellent customer service skills.
