Job Summary
An Electrician / Electrical Technician with ability to undertake their own Electrical Test and Inspection of electrical installations is required to join a growing team providing industrial electrical installation and maintenance support to leading food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to customer sites in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire using a company van to perform electrical tests, inspections and maintenance.
- Conduct electrical tests on power, lighting, control panels, fixed wiring, switch gear and general installations, and report where improvements or new installations are required.
- Electrician / Electrical Technician with competency in autonomous Electrical Test and Inspection of electrical installations.
- Valid certificates: 18th edition IEE wiring regulations certificate and C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 Electrical Test and Inspection certificate.
- Days only, 40 hours per week.
- Higher rate overtime available after 40 hours.
