A busy and well-established commercial vehicle operation in Bedford is looking to recruit a hands‑on Trailer / HGV Workshop Supervisor. This position is ideally suited to an experienced Technician stepping into a senior position, with approximately 90% of time spent on the tools and the remainder supporting workshop coordination.

This is a practical, shop‑floor‑based position where the successful Supervisor will play a key responsibility in maintaining workshop efficiency while continuing to carry out repairs and servicing work.

• Carrying out trailer servicing, inspections, and repairs
• Supporting the planning and prioritisation of daily workshop workloads
• Leading by example as a senior technician within the team
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior technicians
• Maintaining high levels of customer service and minimising vehicle downtime

• Salary circa £47,000
• Overtime at time and a half, with double pay on Sundays
