Lead a School Where Excellence, Culture, and Children Come FirstThe PREP School is seeking a high-performing, experienced Preschool Director to lead one of our private preschool campuses in Austin, Texas.
This is not a daycare management role, it is an opportunity to lead a thriving school community, develop exceptional educators, build strong family relationships, and drive operational excellence in a growing organization.

What You’ll Lead- Daily school operations and licensing compliance
- Staff leadership, coaching, accountability, and retention
- Enrollment growth and family experience
- Building strong relationships with parents and community partners
- Hiring and developing high-quality educators
- Maintaining operational organization and excellence
- Campus culture, professionalism, and team morale
- Health, safety, and risk management standards
- Collaboration with ownership and leadership teams on strategic initiatives
This role is ideal for someone who can balance strong leadership with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for children and families.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Current Texas Director Certification
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood setting
- Proven experience managing staff, enrollment, and school operations
- Strong understanding of Texas licensing regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Professional leadership presence with high standards and accountability
- Ability to multitask and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business, or related field
- Experience leading a high-quality private preschool program
