We areseekingan experienced, hospitality minded Compounding Pharmacy Technician who wants to grow with our team.
All Pharmacy Technicians arecross-trainedin both Data Entry and our Compounding Lab to ensure a well-rounded understanding of pharmacy operations and to support team collaboration.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handle inbound and outbound patient callsregardingprescription updates, refills, and general inquiries
- Accurately enter and process prescription orders using pharmacy-specific software
- Assist patients in person, providing exceptional customer service and support at pickup
- Prepare and package medications for shipment in accordance with pharmacy and regulatory standards
- Prepare compounded medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Fill and dispense commercial (non-compounded) medications
- Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab and all pharmacy work areas
- Restock medications and supplies throughout the pharmacy
- Proactivelyassistwith administrative and operational tasks to support the overall efficiency and success of the pharmacy
Summary:
- Active Texas (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
