Shift: 6:30 – 3:00
We have 6 OR suites, 2 ENDO suites and 1 room for pain procedures. We do mainly Neuro, Spine, Ortho and General cases.
We have state of the art Neuro equipment including Stealth Navigation, Mazor Robot and several "O"arms for imaging. We also have a Davinci Robot for general and urology cases. Our OR case volume usually runs 10
-20 cases a day. We do emergencies only after hours and on the weekends.

As the Nurse Operating Room Manager, the professional creates a supportive work environment for staff and unit personnel. This emphasizes professional nursing practice, teamwork, collaboration, and patient‑focused care. The manager plans, develops, and implements policies, assesses and tracks procedures, oversees budgets and resources, manages quality initiatives and educational programs, and serves on governance councils to achieve goals.
Essential Functions OfThe Role
- You will establish and share your vision for nursing practices within the unit.
- Work closely with supervisors and nursing staff to reach department goals. Teamwork is key in achieving success.
- Prioritizing a positive work environment, you'll ensure the establishment of effective processes and protocols, fostering best nursing practices and research.
- Encouraging the growth of each team member, you'll facilitate their professional development in both clinical skills and leadership capabilities.
- To excel in your role, stay informed on new nursing research, best practices, and patient care models.
- As a proactive problem solver, you'll identify and address any ethical or clinical issues that may arise.
- Familiarity and proficiency in nursing procedures and patient care standards.
- Know regulations, laws, and rules, as well as certification and accreditation guidelines. Be familiar with hospital standards and department policies related to nursing care.
- Basic computer skills are essential, including office software, information security, scheduling/payroll systems, patient record management, and email use.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Nursing.
- A minimum of 3 years prior experience in a relevant role is required.
- Registered nurse (RN).
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, is essential for this role.
