Job DescriptionGeneral Description The Adult Education Administrative Specialist II provides support services to the department by performing routine clerical duties, entering student data, greeting visitors, and maintaining strict confidence of student information. This position also assists the SNAP Employment & Training case manager with client contacts and general office duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Answers the phone, makes copies, and provides clerical support to the Director of Adult Education, faculty, and staff.
- Greets students, external stakeholders, visitors, and provides Adult Education information as requested.
- Assists with both in‑person and digital student registration and scheduling of initial assessments. Cooperates with faculty at all locations to ensure smooth enrollment process.
- Enters student information in LACES database for reporting purposes for the Arkansas Department of Career Education.
- Contacts potential SNAP E&T clients to schedule appointments. Assist SNAP E&T Case Manager with updating client files.
- Education:
High School, plus specialized schooling and/or on‑the‑job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc. - Experience General: 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training
