Institutional Work Study - Student Center Assistant

The Student Center is seeking (2) Institutional Work Study students. (1) at 15 hours per week AND (1) at 10 hours per week for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 terms.

Duties include:

• Answer questions, direct guests to the appropriate meeting room
• Provide general support to the Student Center Facilities & Events program including setting up rooms, tables, chairs, A/V equipment, etc.

Professional verbal skills and above average knowledge of campus resources and offices. Personally comfortable with calmly handling upset customers and the ability to life tables and chairs.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.
