Institutional Work Study - Classroom Monitor

SSS/Trio is seeking (1) Institutional Work Study student at 20 hours per week for the Summer 2026 term.

Duties include:

Assist students with checking in and out using the Student Access Tracker login, maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom ensuring that it is always ready to use, help prepare for upcoming SSS/Trio workshops and activities scheduled throughout the academic year.

Salary: $11.00 per hour

The ideal candidate should demonstrate responsibility, honesty, respect, and discipline. Effective communication skills are essential. Furthermore, the candidate must show initiative and build positive relationships with peers.

Physical

Activities:

Stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.

Physical Exertion:
Up to 10 pounds, up to 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds, more than 100 pounds, up to 100 pounds.

Background Check Statement:
This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check.
