Instructor of Nursing – Regional Career Center

Full‑time faculty member for the Nursing program on the ASU‑Searcy campus. The Instructor will teach Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing courses, supervise clinical practice, assist with evening and weekend classes, plan optimal learning environments, provide high‑quality instruction and advising, develop learning outcomes, assess student performance, and engage in ongoing professional development.

• Prepare and review assigned lesson plans
• Present lesson plans and instruction to students
• Administer and grade tests and student assignments
• Advise students
• Supervise students in all aspects of clinical education
• Work closely with the supervisor regarding nursing education teaching materials
• Order needed supplies to teach required material
• Collaborate with faculty and administration on curriculum development, revision, and updates
• Attend nursing faculty, department, division, and advisory meetings
• Travel to other ASU‑Beebe campuses and clinical sites for teaching and meetings
• Assist students with invasive procedures performed on clients at clinical sites
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Arkansas;
Associate’s Degree in Nursing; and willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
