Federal Work Study Student - Performing Arts Assistant

The Arts & Humanities division is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 15 hours per week for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 terms.

Duties include:

• Assist in setting up/creating performing arts events
• Assist with recruiting at fine arts events
• Assist with gallery openings, front of house duties for music & theatre events
• Assist with Fine Arts preview days

Must have organizational skills; warm, friendly personality; and knowledge of Fine Arts.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
