Arkansas State University‑Beebe, a two‑year residential community college within the Arkansas State University System, invites applications for a full‑time, 9‑month, promotion‑eligible, non‑tenure‑track Instructor of Computer Systems & Networking Technology ( CSNT ). We seek a dynamic and student‑focused individual with a passion for technology, a commitment to student success, and the ability to stay ahead of industry advancements.

• Teach IT courses of the CSNT program, including but not limited to:
  • Cisco Networking Academy CCNA
  • Network+
  • A+
  • Linux+
• Develop and update curriculum to align with industry standards.
• Advise and mentor students as needed.
• Assess courses and implement improvements for student learning.
• Participate in departmental and institutional service activities.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Dean of Career Education.

• Courses may be offered during the day, evenings, online, and potentially on weekends.
• While currently based on the ASU‑Beebe campus, future courses may be taught at other ASU‑Beebe locations.

• Relevant industry certifications, professional experience in computer systems and networking technology, teaching experience, and curriculum development experience.
• Within six months of being hired, complete Cisco Networking Academy trainings to become a Certified Cisco Academy Instructor ( CCAI ) for the following courses:
  • CCNA :
    Introduction to Networks
  • CCNA :
    Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials
  • CCNA :
    Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation

Four‑year college degree, or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, such as cyber security, information technology administration, and network administration.
