Job Description General DescriptionArkansas State University-Beebe, a two-year residential community college within the Arkansas State University System, invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, promotion-eligible, non-tenure-track Instructor of Computer Systems & Networking Technology (CSNT). We seek a dynamic and student-focused individual with a passion for technology, a commitment to student success, and the ability to stay ahead of industry advancements.
Key Responsibilities- Teach IT courses of the CSNT program, including but not limited to:
- Cisco Networking Academy CCNA
- Network+
- A+
- Linux+
- Develop and update curriculum to align with industry standards.
- Advise and mentor students as needed.
- Assess courses and implement improvements for student learning.
- Participate in departmental and institutional service activities.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Dean of Career Education.
- Courses may be offered during the day, evenings, online, and potentially on weekends.
- While currently based on the ASU-Beebe campus, future courses may be taught at other ASU-Beebe locations.
- Relevant industry certifications, professional experience in computer systems and networking technology, teaching experience, and curriculum development experience.
- Within six months of being hired, complete Cisco Networking Academy trainings to become a Certified Cisco Academy Instructor (CCAI) for the following courses:

Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials - CCNA:
Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation

Required QualificationsFour-year college degree, or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, such as cyber security, information technology administration, and network administration.
