Part-Time Public Safety Officer

ASU-Beebe is seeking a Part Time Public Safety Officer to work up to 19 hours per week as needed. This officer reports to the HE Public Safety Commander at the Beebe campus and is responsible for providing campus safety and security.

• Certified full or part-time police officer.
• At least 21 years of age and preferably certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy.
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.

$20.00 per hour.

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. An additional financial/credit history/background check may be required. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions with completed probation and dismissal will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation, and position applied for will be taken into account.
