Job Description:The Music Department is seeking (1) Institutional Work Study students at 15 hours each per week for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 terms.
Duties include:
- Keep the building open during posted hours
- Supervise the building
- Keep a log of anyone that comes in and out of the building
- File band and choir music
- Check out performance attire to students involved in music performances
The ability to read music; understand how score order works; the ability to keep detailed records; move music equipment; be comfortable giving instructions; supervising students using the music facilities and reporting any problems that occur.
Minimum Salary or Salary Range:$11.00 per hour
Background Check Statement:This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
