Overview
We’re looking for a skilled machinist with experience operating both manual and CNC mills and lathes. This role involves working on a variety of precision parts, performing setups, and ensuring high-quality production with tight tolerances. The position offers a stable schedule, minimal supervision, and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
Position: CNC Machinist Setup/Operator (Manual and CNC Mills and Lathes)
Pay: $26–$28/hour + full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime is optional — available during the week and occasional Saturdays)
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes
- Perform machining operations to produce high-quality parts within tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean
- Maintain quality and safety standards while meeting production deadlines
- Assist or guide team members when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school is a plus)
- 3 years of machining experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
