Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237!

Travel: RN CCU (3x12's - Nights)

Indianapolis, IN | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiac Critical Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3
• Manage ventilated patients with respiratory therapy support and operate equipment including Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Titrate vasoactive drips and monitor hemodynamic status for critically ill cardiac patients
• Care for post-cath STEMIs, NSTEMIs, direct admits from outside facilities, and medical ICU overflow patients
• Document accurately using Epic EMR
• Float as first to float during low census situations

• Active RN license valid in Indiana
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience, including ventilator management and titratable vasoactive drips
• Ability to work every other weekend

• Experience with cardiac critical care populations including STEMI and NSTEMI patients
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic equipment (Swan-Ganz, Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers)
• Prior experience with Epic EMR

• Work in a specialized Cardiac Critical Care environment with access to advanced technology and a collaborative care team
• 13-week travel contract with guaranteed hours in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit
