Job Overview: Pyramid Design and Construction is hiring a skilled Plumbing Lead Installer to join our growing team. This position requires a strong background in commercial plumbing and pipe installation, with a specific emphasis on threading and grooving pipe. You'll be working on compressed air systems including piping, ducting, and related mechanical installations. After a few months of hands‑on learning with our experienced crews, you'll be expected to work independently and eventually lead project teams.

• Install plumbing systems for compressed air systems, including compressors, dryers, tanks, drains, and ducting.
• Thread, groove, and install pipe (carbon steel, aluminum) ranging from ½" to 8" using rigid 300 tools.
• Fabricate and install hangers to support piping systems.
• Work both independently and with a crew, eventually taking a leadership role on job sites.
• Communicate professionally with customers and represent Pyramid on‑site.
• Read and interpret mechanical plans and adapt as needed to field conditions.
• Safely operate scissor lifts and boom lifts to access elevated installations.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and uphold all safety protocols.

• Minimum 3‑5 years of plumbing experience (compressed air or mechanical systems preferred).
• Proficient in pipe threading and grooving techniques.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work at heights using scissor/boom lifts (certification not required).
• HVAC ductwork experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable with variable scheduling: average 37‑40 hours/week, with some weeks between 32‑45 hours.
