Position: Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and Advanced Academics Coordinator

Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) & Advanced Academics Coordinator

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) & Advanced Academics Coordinator, under the supervision of the Chief of Staff and in collaboration with the Curriculum and Instruction team, leads the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Beeville ISD's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Local Designation System and Advanced Academics programs. This position collaborates with district leaders, campus administrators, teachers, students, and community partners to ensure alignment with district goals, Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements, and best practices that support teacher excellence and student achievement.

The coordinator oversees TIA processes, including assessment activities, student growth measures, district assessments, T-TESS evaluation alignment, data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts to support accurate teacher designations and equitable implementation of the district's Local Designation System. Additionally, this position supports the coordination and advancement of programs for advanced learners, including Gifted and Talented (GT), Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Credit, and other enrichment opportunities.

The coordinator assists with program compliance, identification processes, professional learning, data analysis, and the development of systems that increase access, rigor, and student success in advanced academic pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification:

    Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and/or Educational Administration or a related field
  • Valid Texas Teaching Certification
  • Valid Mid-Management or Principal Certification preferred
  • Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS) appraiser
  • Special Knowledge and

    Skills:

    Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate, plan and implement state/district initiatives
  • Ability to interpret and implement policy, procedures, and data
  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities, projects and tasks
  • Ability to seek resources and solutions to effectively solve problems
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Experience:

    Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience
  • Experience in campus or district leadership, instructional coaching, education evaluation, assessment, or Teacher Incentive Allotment Implementation, preferred
