Overview

Senior Helpers is looking for Caregivers/CNA's to provide private duty work throughout select areas, serving clients 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Our care team and staff are treated with respect in an inclusive environment with a flexible schedule. You will make a real difference in the quality of life for our clients.

• Assist with ADLs/IADLs
• Transferring and positioning of the client
• Incontinence care
• Companionship and conversation
• Encourage client mobility
• Light housekeeping
• Household management
• Walking assistance
• Eating assistance
• Errands and transportation using client’s vehicle or your vehicle
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linen changing
• Bathing assistance
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting
• Medication reminders
• Monitor Alzheimer’s and dementia clients and provide reminders
• Overnight duties: assist client to and from bed and throughout the night

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• 1 year of working with seniors in a professional setting
• Age 18 and up
• CPR certification is a plus
• Strong transfer techniques
• Weekend availability may be required
• Pass recurring 30‑day skills assessment and client review with Client Services Manager (if required by state)
• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily and record daily hours worked and daily services performed in Well Sky or weekly timesheet by 5pm every Monday
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers employee handbook and training manual

To provide professional caregiving services and help clients maintain their independence by assisting them with activities of daily living and household and family support services.

Reports to Care Team/Client Service Manager.
