LVN Med/Surg Staff Nurse (Hiring Immediately) – Christus Health, Beeville, TX

Provides nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed professional.

Provides primary care to a designated group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Assists in the collection of patient data used to determine nursing needs of the patient.

Works with other disciplines to ensure a collaborative approach to the care of the patient.

Our Medical Surgical department has an average daily census of 14, and a monthly census of about 80-100.

We treat patients with a wide variety of medical issues including Pneumonia, Cellulitis, COPD, Diabetes, Heart Failure, Renal Failure, Chest Pain and Liver Failure.

We are a team that enjoys supporting each other and working together with a vision.

We participate in community events to educate our local population on preventive care and collaborate with city and county leaders to provide the needed resources to our community.

We welcome and precept new graduate nurses from our local college as well as newcomers to the area.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing.

Experience

• Will accept a new graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Current Texas State LVN license.
• CPR – American Heart Association.
