An overview of this roleAs an Executive Business Administrator, you’ll provide strategic, high‑impact support to four senior leaders in Git Lab’s People Group: the VP of Total Rewards, VP of Talent Acquisition, VP of People Strategy and Engagement, and VP of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging. You’ll manage complex calendars, plan travel, support recruiting, plan events, and collaborate across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Navan, and Git Lab.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support and partner closely with four People Group executives while flexing to shifting priorities across their teams.
- Own and proactively manage complex, high‑volume calendars across multiple time zones.
- Coordinate extensive domestic and non‑US travel, including transportation, lodging, visas, and documentation, and accompany executives when needed.
- Plan and execute events such as team off‑sites, large meetings, and company kick‑offs in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Support the full recruiting lifecycle for the People Group by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and organizing onboarding activities.
- Compile and submit timely, accurate expense reports and support related processes such as purchase orders.
- Provide coverage and backup for other Executive Business Administrators.
- Run and lead special projects and ad hoc initiatives for People Group executives.
- Experience providing executive‑level administrative support in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Navan, and related tools and purchase‑order processes.
- Ability to manage complex, frequently changing calendars and travel across multiple time zones.
- Demonstrated experience working independently, prioritizing, and solving problems.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering with senior leaders.
- Experience supporting recruiting activities, including coordinating interviews and onboarding logistics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail, including preparing expense reports.
- Openness to working in an all‑remote, distributed environment and contributing to a positive culture.
The Executive Business Administrator will join Git Lab’s People Group, which focuses on scaling people programs, improving processes, and enabling senior leaders to spend more time on strategic work.
