Senior Sales Engineer - Analytical Instrumentation
Main Responsibilities:
Manage existing accounts while developing new business opportunities and expanding the sales pipeline.
Identify and qualify potential customers, plan and execute sales calls, and maintain accurate CRM records.
Understand customer requirements by building strong relationships and providing tailored technical solutions.
Drive and manage project pipelines, supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Deliver product presentations, technical consultations, and technology evaluations in collaboration with technical support teams.
Communicate regulatory compliance requirements and application solutions effectively.
Engage with customers’ engineering teams to demonstrate value propositions and product advantages.
Represent products at field events such as conferences and seminars.
Provide technical training and support to customers’ staff.
Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements :
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Physical/Chemical Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in project-based field sales of laboratory analytical instruments with long sales cycles.
Proven experience selling to polymer, plastics packaging, tire industries, academia, or research institutions.
Strong knowledge of laboratory analytical instruments, material characterization, and data interpretation.
Solid understanding of sales processes, distribution channels, and basic project management.
Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently to achieve KPIs.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Willing to travel domestically and possess a valid driving license (SIM
A).
Hands-on knowledge of technical equipment, process control systems, and marketing processes.
