Field Credit Officer – Client Visits & Payment Maintenance

About the Role

Our client, an established agricultural development organization operating in Depok, West Java, , is seeking a motivated and dedicated Agricultural Field Officer. This role is crucial for providing on-the-ground support and technical assistance to farmers and agricultural communities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and training to farmers on best agricultural practices, including crop cultivation, soil management, and pest control.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop progress, identify challenges, and provide solutions.
• Assist farmers in implementing improved farming techniques to increase yields and profitability.
• Collect data on farm activities, crop production, and socio-economic conditions.
• Organize and facilitate farmer meetings, workshops, and demonstration plots.
• Liaise with local communities, government extension services, and other stakeholders.
• Promote the adoption of sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
• Assist in the planning and execution of agricultural projects within the designated area.
• Prepare field reports, documenting activities, observations, and recommendations.
• Ensure effective communication and feedback mechanisms between farmers and the organization.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in agricultural extension, field support, or a similar role.
• Practical knowledge of local farming systems and crop production in Depok, West Java, and surrounding areas.
• Strong understanding of agricultural best practices, including soil health, pest management, and irrigation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the field.
• Proficiency in data collection and basic reporting.
• Familiarity with community development principles is a plus.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential;
  English language skills are an advantage.
