Required Skills:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license in Maryland
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a hospitalist setting
• Previous locum or temporary physician experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual capabilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric inpatient experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active Maryland medical license or ability to obtain one promptly

Other Requirements:

• Must hold or be eligible for DEA registration
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to travel to the healthcare facility and provide coverage on short notice
• Compliance with all relevant state and federal healthcare regulations
