Seeking a dependable Medical Office Manager to oversee daily operations of a small ENT practice in Bel Air, Maryland. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities with a strong background in the medical field. This role requires a detail‑oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures.

Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate office activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Accurately and efficiently schedule patient appointments to include surgical scheduling, as well as provider and staffing calendars.
  • Handle human resource responsibilities such as onboarding, training & development, payroll processing, as well as other HR related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping of daily receivables for the office.
  • Maintain up-to-date credentialing for providers.
  • Provide back up support to include medical records, managing multi-line phone systems, assisting patients regarding various needs, as well as medical back office related duties and front desk responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar position preferred.
  • Knowledge of various health insurances, as well as having extensive EMR experience.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, medical scheduling, reconciliation of accounts receivables, medical terminology, payroll management and billing knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette.
