Travel RN - Case Management​/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a weekday-only, inpatient Case Management position requiring an MD or compact RN license and at least 3 years of experience.

Job Details

• Inpatient hospital setting focused on case management and care coordination for safe patient discharges,

• Responsibilities center on coordinating medical home care, placement, and social services for inpatient cases,

• Average daily caseload of 15 cases,

• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends (5x8 days, 8:00-16:30 depending on unit needs),

• Epic EMR preferred,

• Floating required between two facilities (Bel Air and Aberdeen, approximately 10 miles apart) as needed,

• Holiday coverage required as scheduled,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license for the state of Maryland (MD) or a compact RN license currently in hand,

• BLS certification preferred,

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required,

• Inpatient hospital/acute care experience required,

Additional Information

• Coordinate and manage care plans for inpatient cases, including medical home care, placement, and wrap-around social services to facilitate safe discharges,

• Business casual attire required (scrubs not standard for this role),

• First-time travelers with inpatient/acute care experience will be considered,
