Description:

This position requires a Registered Nurse in an orthopedic unit specializing in MS/Tele.
Candidates will provide care for orthopedic patients, including joint replacements and fracture repairs.
The position requires management of spinal patients, including ACDF, fusions, and decompress ions.
The nurse will be responsible for the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Patient ratio experience should include a minimum of 6 patients per nurse.
Special equipment used in this unit includes PCA pumps, Bucks traction, and overbed trapezes.
Orientation will involve training on specific equipment and procedures utilized in the unit.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend, and holiday shifts will be scheduled as needed.
Candidates must be able to assist with patient mobility and use specific devices such as Hoyer lifts and walkers.
Compliance with safety protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE, is expected.
Travelers must be comfortable floating to other areas within the facility when necessary.
