License/certs required: RN MD state license, BLS, NRP required; ACLS, STABLE, FHM, AWHONN (Beg/Int/Adv) preferred

Weekends: every other weekend required

Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled

Floating: may be required within the specialty and sister units as needed

On-call: not required

Ratios: Triage (ratio 1:4);
Early labor/induction (ratio 1:2);
Active labor (ratio 1:1); CD (ratio 1:1);
Post-partum (ratio 1:4)

Patient Diagnoses: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum;
Antenatal Testing, Triage, Induction, High-Risk, Post-Partum Pre-eclampsia, C-section

Unit Special Procedures/Details: LDRP unit with a Special Care Nursery (Level II NICU);
Total of 14 LDRP's, 9 overflow beds (for PP C/S, Antepartum, NAS, bili baby) 2 triage beds, 2 antenatal testing bays, 2 ORs, & 2 PACU bays, 9 bed Special Care Nursery
