Insurance & Intake Coordinator – Infusion Guide
This full‑time role will be located onsite in Bel Air, MD. The Infusion Guide contributes to the company’s growth through detailed referral and intake coordination and excellent customer and physician service. The role ensures patients receive the highest level of infusion therapy care.
In this role, you will:- Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process: obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
- Liaison with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation and communicate status of their patients
- Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer‑centric way
- Communicate openly with referring / prescribing providers
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
- Participate in a dedicated 6‑week training plan that helps you succeed
- Passion for patient care and delivery of exceptional patient experiences
- Health care experience required
- Prior experience in infusion is preferred
- Insurance prior authorization experience
- Medical terminology experience
- Overall medical insurance experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new apps
- Experience and strong familiarity with EHR systems
