Travel RN - Cardiac Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry (MS/Tele) position working nights on a combined Medical‑Surgical/PCU unit, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a Maryland RN license.

• Active Maryland (MD) RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong CPU and PCU experience required, particularly the ability to manage higher‑acuity patients

• Work on a combined MS/Telemetry and PCU unit (3E CPU) in an inpatient hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a variety of complex diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, NSTEMI, new‑onset AFib, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure/AKI
• Unit operates with an average daily census of 30 patients across 30 beds in 22 rooms
• Higher‑acuity PCU‑level care is required given the combined unit structure
• 13‑week contract
• Night shift: 3x12‑hour shifts (1900–0730)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within specialty as needed
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• No on‑call requirement
• Provide telemetry and PCU‑level nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex, multi‑system diagnoses
• Navy blue scrubs required
• First‑time travelers will be considered provided they have strong CPU and PCU experience with demonstrated ability to handle higher acuity
• Any time‑off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
