Medication Technician

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to support residents in our vibrant senior living community. In this role, you'll safely administer medications, accurately document care, and monitor residents' well-being in collaboration with nurses and care associates. You'll assist with daily living needs, follow state regulations and infection control standards, and engage residents with warmth and respect. Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and community policies
• Accurately document medication administration, changes, and resident responses in electronic or paper records
• Monitor residents for side effects, changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed, promoting dignity, safety, and independence
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team to coordinate high-quality, resident-first care
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and work areas in a clean, organized, and secure manner
• Follow all state regulations, infection control procedures, and community safety protocols
• Participate in training, in service education, and team meetings to enhance skills and quality of care
• Assist with new resident admissions, care transitions, and updates to individualized care plans
• Demonstrate Brightview's hospitality-focused culture by engaging residents in a warm, respectful, and compassionate manner
