Job Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in critical care. The role involves providing advanced nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex health conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The assignment begins on October 12, 2026, and runs through March 1, 2027, offering a comprehensive opportunity for experienced ICU nursing professionals.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  RN License must have an active Maryland or Compact License at time of submission;
  CertificationsACLS, BLS, NIHSS;
  Experience minimum 2 years of ICU experience;
  Skills Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, CVVHD/CRRT, Emergency Medications, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with ICU charting system; trauma level II experience preferred; experience with community hospital setting or LTAC is a plus
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests. Onboarding requires labs within 72 hours of signing the contract, with an onboarding compliance deadline of 5 days prior to start.
• Scheduling & Travel Requirements:
  Max 7 days RTO allowed; must accept auto-offer units without interview; schedule restrictions cannot be requested or guaranteed; float rotation may be required. Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions.
