Job Overview

Road Mechanic – job in a device maintenance environment offering preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment including aerial work platforms, construction tools, pumps, HVAC units, and large‑scale generators.

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way to avoid downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operations management.
• Collaborate with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required in some locations.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

• Proficiency with mechanic’s tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors and outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

$26.46 – $36.37 per hour (starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience).
