Curvick Mechanical Services LLC is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to help deliver reliable heating and cooling solutions for residential and light commercial customers in the MD area.
Position SummaryThe HVAC Technician role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure safe, efficient, and dependable performance. You’ll diagnose problems, complete repairs, perform scheduled maintenance, and support customers with clear recommendations.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid work location type based in MD, providing the opportunity to work hands-on in the field while supporting broader team coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, components, and related equipment.
Perform diagnostics to identify issues, determine effective solutions, and restore systems to proper working order.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to improve system efficiency and longevity.
Complete service documentation accurately and communicate findings and recommendations professionally.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company procedures.
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (or equivalent hands‑on training and service experience).
Ability to diagnose HVAC system issues and perform repairs safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of heating and cooling system operation, maintenance practices, and basic controls.
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency using standard tools required for HVAC service work.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service.
Familiarity with residential and light commercial HVAC systems and common equipment types.
Experience completing preventive maintenance programs and documenting service results.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and service information.
Demonstrated skill in customer communication, including explaining repair options clearly.
Experience working effectively in a team environment and coordinating schedules.
Hourly rate: $30 - $40
