Position Overview & Operational Details
Looking for a high-paying regional route with weekly home time? We are hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated retail account operating out of Pennsylvania. This is a physically demanding role handling 100% manual trailer unloads (over 5,000 pieces per load), but the high-earning pay structure heavily rewards your effort.
Weekly Earnings: $1,600 – $1,900 average gross per week
Estimated Annual Earnings: $83,200 – $98,800 per year
Pay Structure: $1.10 per mile + $270 unload pay per load + $17 stop pay
Weekly Mileage: ~1,000 consistent average miles per week
Home Time Routine: Home weekly for a guaranteed 34-hour restart
Route & Shift Conditions: Operates day and night shifts with heavy night driving and technical backing; weekend runs required (guaranteed zero deliveries on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
Qualifications, Screening & BenefitsDriver License & Age: Active Class A CDL and valid DOT Medical Card; minimum 21 years of age
Experience Tiers: Open to trainees with 0 months experience (must hold a valid CDL-A) OR experienced drivers with 6+ months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months (or 12 months in the last 5 years; local experience fully counted)
Hiring Territory: Must reside within 50 miles of designated hiring zip codes across Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania
Physical Standard: Must be capable of safely lifting 50 to 75 pounds and handling 5,000+ piece manual hand-unloads
Background & Compliance: Maximum of 4 carrier jobs held over the trailing 12 months and a clean 5-year MVR free of severe preventable collisions. Requires clearing standard DOT hair and urine drug tests.
