Part Time Field Service Technician – Wichita, KS

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group is hiring a Field Service Technician to serve the Wichita area. The role focuses on kiosk maintenance and installations for systems such as Minute Key, Quick Tag, Eco‑ATM, and Pokémon. The territory includes more than 20 kiosks with flexible hours ranging from 8 to 20 per week, paid hourly at $22–$25 depending on experience.

Car allowance, cell‑phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card will be provided for business mileage.

• Re‑stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed
• Perform on‑call repairs or adjustments when a kiosk goes out of order
• Install new kiosks or swap existing units in the local area
• Monitor kiosks for issues and coordinate with stores to resolve connectivity or power problems
• Track inventory for kiosk re‑stocking
• Optimize machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships to grow revenue in the territory
• Support safety and health programs, including reporting hazards and wearing required personal protective equipment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred)
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations, and customer service (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking, including technical jargon

• Computer literacy:
  Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Professional representation of Hillman
• Availability to work weekends when required

• Excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license; clean record mandatory
• Reliable transportation with automobile insurance; mileage reimbursement provided
• Reliable cell phone (reimbursed)

Work in a sales/service environment that varies by location and store setup. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Daily travel may involve driving up to 200 miles. Requires hand/eye coordination, functional vision, and hearing.

Physical demands include medium lifting up to 30 lbs. and occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
