School Bus Driver

Overview

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers – Granby, Ware, Belchertown, MA. As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will transport students safely to and from school and activities, providing a vital service to the community.

• Pickup students from home in the morning and transport them to school.
• Drop students off at home in the afternoon.
• Assist with boarding and unloading, ensuring seatbelts and mobility aids are used appropriately.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior, delays, or incidents.
• Provide leadership, customer‑service skills, and a positive role model for students.

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Reserved for part‑time schedule with summers off.
• Enjoy working with students.
• Ability to pass DOT drug testing (ScheduleI drugs, including marijuana, prohibited).
• Preferred:
  ClassB license, experience with ride‑share or taxi services, or prior roles such as teacher, CDL driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality or retail associate.

• Hourly rate: $32.06 after training completion.
• Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.

Part‑time, flexible schedule:
Split shifts (AM/PM routes), weekdays only; optional nights, weekends, and holidays. Split shifts and summers off.
