The Statistics Internship role for the Treat Process Engineering Department is intended for students or early-career professionals in statistics with an interest in data analysis and machine learning. The main objective of this role is to support data collection, analysis, and interpretation using statistical tools and foundational analytical techniques. This role contributes to data-driven decision-making by generating insights, identifying trends, and supporting process improvements across different areas of the organization.
Typically:
* Advanced student in Statistics or a related field.
* Typically, 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field (academic projects applicable).
* Basic to intermediate proficiency in English (B2-B2+ preferred).
* Strong knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Experience with data analysis and data handling.
* Experience with Python, R, SQL or any programming language is a plus.
* Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
