Position: Stepdown Nurse (RN) - Belen, NM
A registered nurse with stepdown experience is needed for a night shift opportunity in Belen, NM. This position offers the chance to work in a specialized cardiovascular stepdown unit providing critical care to patients recovering from cardiac events and surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a 55-bed progressive care unit specializing in cardiovascular cases
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes using your critical thinking and nursing skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to create and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system
• Adhere to professional standards and safety protocols while wearing attire without logos

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred
• Cardiovascular stepdown or progressive care unit experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification preferred
• Ability to work night hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM in a 4x12-hour schedule
• Comfortable with 1:4 patient ratios, rotating weekend shifts, and float assignments
• Flexible to accept local travel assignments within the region as needed
