Graduate Practical Nurse, GPN

Overview

Position:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Genesis Healthcare, Belen Center.

Employment:
Full‑time & part‑time, 12‑hour day and night shifts.

Base pay: $31 per hour. Additional compensation: $6 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays, $2 per hour for evening shifts, $3 per hour for night shifts, and a $15,000 retention bonus is available.

• Deliver nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with senior staff.
• Assess and evaluate patients/residents, collect data, observe conditions, and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.

• Graduate of an approved vocational nursing school.
• Licensed by the state board of nursing or pending LPN licensure.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
