Registered Nurse; RN; Neuroscience​/Neurology

Role

Provide direct nursing care within various inpatient units, including PCU, Oncology, Surgery, Trauma, Neuroscience, and more. Serve as a clinical leader, role model, and relief charge nurse to ensure quality patient care and adherence to policies.

Implement and document individualized care plans, assist with tests and procedures, administer medications, respond to emergencies, maintain accurate medical records, and promote patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and participate in orientation and professional development activities.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, currently licensed as an RN in New Mexico, with CPR/BLS certification. Must complete IV verification and TB testing. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, bilingual abilities, and specialty certifications.

Strong clinical skills, patient safety awareness, effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability to diverse patient populations across all age groups. Ability to work in high-paced environments, handle emergencies, and maintain a safe, therapeutic setting.
