- Install and repair pipes, water lines, drains, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair heating and air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and fix plumbing and HVAC problems.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment working properly.
- Read basic blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Follow safety rules and building codes.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, and other workers about repairs and job progress.
- Previous plumbing and/or HVAC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
- Ability to use common tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
- Ability to lift equipment and materials.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to work in different weather and job-site conditions.
