Performs the inventory control I functions as outlined below to cover the internal customer

request and requirements. This position will include inventory and shipment of product

goods.

Responsibilities & Duties

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Operates forklift, pallet jacks and other associated warehouse equipment.

* Conveys materials and items from production, warehouse, staging, or shipping areas as

directed.

* Marks materials with identifying information and labels for all products.

* Uses handheld bar code scanner.

* Opens cartons, bales, crates, and other containers and ensure shipments are

undamaged. Notes any discrepancies.

* Performs area housekeeping duties including trash dumping, sweeping, and organizing

work areas.

* Abides by all safety rules and regulations.

* Ability to memorize all 25 Systems Applications & Products (SAP) T-code transactions

related to inventory control Level I.

* Ability to work alternate shifts, as assigned, to meet business needs.

* Complete all mezzanine tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.

* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.

* 1 year of demonstrated experience working in a warehouse required.

* Must be able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and

various other documents and instructions.

* Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow supervisory instructions.

* Must have good problem-solving skills.

* Must have the ability to operate equipment that is assigned in the warehouse.

* Effective communication skills with fluency in English required.

* To be eligible for promotion to Inventory Control II, the employees must obtain full

certification of level I for the inventory control functions.
